Musician D4vd Allegedly Named as Person of Interest in Death of Youngster Found in Tesla

The artist known as D4vd was named as a individual under scrutiny in the demise of Celeste Rivas, a teenager who went missing and was later discovered deceased inside the musician's Tesla automobile earlier this year, based on authorities.

Finding of the Body

This decayed corpse of Rivas, fifteen, was found in this past autumn inside the frunk of a dark-colored Tesla owned by D4vd, whose legal name is David Anthony Burke. The vehicle had been ticketed in a Hollywood area and then confiscated at a vehicle storage facility in Los Angeles.

Timeline of Occurrences

Police believe that Rivas probably succumbed in the spring, stating that D4vd had apparently been involved in dismembering and discarding the body. The artist has refused to cooperate in the probe, per a law enforcement representative.

The adolescent Rivas was first noted as disappeared from a city 60 miles from Los Angeles in April 2024. The remains was eventually found in the musician's Tesla after employees at the impound facility notified a powerful odor emanating from the automobile.

Probe and Authoritative Comments

The cause of death has not yet been determined, but the medical examiner's office commented that Rivas “appears to have been dead inside the car for an extended period before being discovered.” Law enforcement are viewing her demise as a suspicious death.

Background on D4vd

This Houston singer had been given a ticket in the Los Angeles neighborhood just less than two weeks before Rivas was found in the car, after overstaying the three-day parking limit. Neighbors in the area reported that the Tesla had been left in the area for over a month.

The victim's sibling stated that the family was informed that Rivas had a connection to the singer and that she was on her way to watch a film with him just before she vanished.

D4vd, pronounced as “David,” is a NY-native singer-songwriter known for the hits “Romantic Homicide” and “Here With Me.” D4vd and his agent were living at a LA residence in the Los Angeles neighborhood in this past autumn, as stated by the home's owner, until authorities entered the home.

D4vd has partnered with music companies. The artist was engaged in a concert series at the time Rivas's remains were found, but cancelled those appearances following the discovery of Rivas's corpse.
